Sierra Vista is recognized as a leader in orthopedics, cancer care and is a Joint Commission accredited primary stroke center. Position Summary

The OB/GYN Nurse is responsible for the planning and provision of nursing care to patients and their families during the antepartum, postpartum and postoperative periods, including emergency situations. Supervises and delegates care responsibilities to ancillary personnel commensurate with their scope of practice.

Qualifications

Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification:

  • 2 Years OB experience required
  • Must be willing and able to cross train for postoperative GYN and stable antepartum patients
  • NRP certificate before hire
  • ACLS certificate before hire
  • Intermediate Fetal monitoring within 6 months of hire.

Desired Training/Education/Experience/Certification:

Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Pay range: $47.66 - $77.89

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
