Duration: 13 weeks.
Shift: 12 Hours Shift (Evening/Night)
Hours: 36 hrs/week

Duties:
- Help provide high-quality patient-centered care in a professional environment that fosters and values collaboration, respect, and diversity.
- Join a team of remarkable nurses and have the opportunity to care for general care and select IMC patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses.
- Work in a collaborative environment, surrounded by state-of-the-art technology, evidence-based practice, and a strong interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice changes.
- Collaborate in the development, execution, and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care.
Minimum Requirements:
Facility Requirement:
- Traveler must have a permanent address outside the 50-mile radius of Madison.
Experience:
- Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years.
- Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
- Traveler must have completed traveler assignment (13 weeks).
Education:
- Associate degree in Nursing.
Licensure and Certification:
- Traveler must have a WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
- BLS – must be certified through the American Heart Association ONLY
Telemetry:
- Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience.
Floating:
- Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age.
- The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs.
- During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
