AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking an RNIn-Patient Clinical Supervisor. This position is full-time:Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 7:00pm at our Hospice Home facility in Burlington, NC.
Job Summary:
Responsible for clinical coordination and supervision of the Inpatient Unit (Beacon Place and/or Hospice Home) including inpatient/residential care. The Clinical Supervisor will share in 24-hour accountability for the IPU. Responsible for ensuring day to day continuity of care and acts as a resource person and back up to the primary nursing staff. Manages daily referral /admissions for the IPU. Assumes operational responsibilities in the absence of the Clinical Manager. Leads day-to-day quality assurance and participates in on-going process improvement.

Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Must be currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Three years nursing experience with current knowledge of nursing practice in an acute care or nursing facility setting.
- Knowledge / understanding of hospice / homecare organizations, reimbursement, and Medicare / Medicaid certification issues.
- Working knowledge of Palliative care methods.
- Excellent assessment and clinical nursing skills.
- Experience in hospice preferred.
- Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse preferred
