AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking an RN In-Patient Clinical Supervisor. This position is a weekend Full time position (12 hour days/36 hours) at our Hospice Home facility in Burlington, NC.
Job Summary:
Responsible for clinical coordination and supervision of the Inpatient Unit (Beacon Place and/or Hospice Home) including inpatient/residential care. The Clinical Supervisor will share in 24-hour accountability for the IPU. Responsible for ensuring day to day continuity of care and acts as a resource person and back up to the primary nursing staff. Manages daily referral/admissions for the IPU. Assumes operational responsibilities in the absence of the Clinical Manager. Leads day-to-day quality assurance and participates in on-going process improvement.

Education and Experience:
Must be currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina.
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
Three years nursing experience with current knowledge of nursing practice in an acute care or nursing facility setting.
Knowledge/understanding of hospice/homecare organizations, reimbursement, and Medicare/Medicaid certification issues.
Working knowledge of Palliative care methods.
Excellent assessment and clinical nursing skills.
Experience in hospice preferred.
Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse preferred
Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
