RN Director of Nursing (Registered Nurse)

Liberty Pointe Rehabilitation in beautiful Doylestown, PA is hiring an experienced Director of Nursing to organize and oversee all nursing operations of the facility. You will create a collaborative and efficient workplace with attention to quality standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• The Director of Nursing will direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel (Unit Managers, RN, LPN, CNA etc.)
• The DON will guide staffing procedures
• The Director of Nursing will set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
• The DON will organize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care procedures
• The Director of Nursing will develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards
• The DON will control budgets and monitor expenditures
• The DON will resolve issues and deficiencies when needed
• The DON will collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations

Skills

• Proven experience as Director of Nursing
• Great knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in a skilled nursing facility.
• Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel
• Great communication and people skills
• Registered Nurse License and CPR certification
