- Job SummaryThe Stress Lab RN is a professional caregiver under the direction of the director, utilizes the nursing process, nursing standards and physician’s orders, plans, provides, and directs care and teaching of patients and families. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
- Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical Effort
Works in a well lighted, ventilated and air conditioned area. Often exposed to unpleasant odors, sights and sounds. Long periods in a stationary position or moving around the unit are required. Risks exposure to disease, infection, physical strain and assault. Risks exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue, radiation and anti-neoplastic agents. Must be able to move or position 50 lbs. independently.
- Minimum Qualifications or EquivalentsEducation: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Experience: One (1) year of M/S clinical experience preferred.
- Licenses, Certifications, and/or RegistrationsCurrent RN license in the state of Kentucky. Basic Life Support “BLS” certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support “ACLS” certification (successful completion within six [6] months of employment).
