Purpose:
The RN Wellness Coordinator is responsible for the management and operation of The Terrace at Woodland within all applicable federal, state and local rules, regulations and statutes, as well as prevailing professional standards. In addition, the RN Wellness Coordinator is responsible for the direction and supervision of all health care services and programs within The Terrace at Woodland.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
* A currently registered nurse with at minimum, 3 years of full-time experience, or
* A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with major work in human services or service delivery and one year full time experience in the provision of services to an adult dependent population.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities in management of a health care team.
* Demonstrated caring attitude towards those in need of care.
* Demonstrated ability to motivate and evaluate staff.
* Strong verbal/written communication skills and organizational skills.
* Ability to work with people, team oriented.
* Must meet all state health requirements.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Ensure that The Terrace at Woodland's operations and standards comply with all local, state and federal rules, regulations and statutes as they relate to Case Management and Resident care.
* Maintain quality of care standards within prevailing professional standards.
* Maintain a sufficient number of adequately trained and experienced staff to care for residents.
* Ensure that staff are assigned in accordance to training and experience.
* Ongoing recruitment and retention of resident care workers.
* Ongoing evaluation of resident care staff.
* Participation in employee recognition activities.
* To be responsible for the direction, supervision and evaluation of all resident care serv. Programs.
* Assess and retain only those residents whose needs can be safely met with ACF standards.
* Develop, maintain and participate in a QA committee who shall review and approve resident care policies, audit care records and serve various other advisory functions as requested by the governing authority.
* Develop and maintain a program of review and revision of policies and procedures annually.
* Develop and implement orientation, in-services and training programs for staff.
* Direct the implementation of all resident care management policies and procedures.
* Maintain resident records in accordance with ACF standards, rules and regs, (ie..med evals).
* Maintain STRICT confidentiality of all information, (Resident, Staff, Operations, etc..).
* Schedule and lead team conferences to plan res care or problem resolution in the mgt of care.
* Participate in the investigation and resolution of resident care grievances.
* Participate in company representation as assigned.
* Communicate with staff and operators to provide continuously updated information regarding resident needs and care.
* Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
