The Risk Management Analyst reports to the Director,Risk Management and Insurance and assists in all aspects of the corporate Risk Management and insurance programs insurance program. The Analyst is responsible for administering, reviewing and analyzing various Risk Management and loss prevention programs in order to maintain maximum protection of the organization's assets at the most economical rates.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Manages the preparation of all corporate insurance renewals by gathering exposure information, participating in marketing efforts, and collecting and maintaining underwriting data for the Company's 300+ properties.
- Develops and maintains schedules of insurance reflecting all policies, premiums, limits and renewal dates.
- Reviews contractual requirements for all certificates of insurance requests to ensure compliance.
- Coordinates the issuance of all certificates of insurance;requests certificates from third-parties and reviews for accuracy.
- Prepares quarterly insurance reports, insurance exposure data, and actuarial data.
- Maintains and administers inspection checklist and COPE information for all locations as needed.
- Reviews and prioritizes incoming incident reports, conducting basic investigation to determine whether incidents are for notice only, should be handled internally or reported to outside claims handlers.
- As needed, supports Risk Manager on non-master renewals and provides responses to lender inquiries.
- Follows-up on loss control and claims activities and tracks pending projects pertaining to loss control and claims.
- Provides analysis of claims to identify trends and recommend solutions.
- Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintains a professional courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or similar program, or equivalent combination of education, training and/or 1-2 years of prior experience in Risk Management industry.
- Must have excellent administrative, communication, business writing and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with data visualization applications such as PowerBI and/or other experience in Data Analytics a plus.
