Department Overview
The Applied Technology organization puts some of Motorola Solutions' brightest minds on unique, highly challenging projects. Based on decades of experience with our customers, we apply leading-edge technologies to support security and safety throughout the world. We engineer our products from start to finish and manufacture them in-house. We're known for low volume and high capability with focused specialization in areas including software-defined radios, advanced antenna solutions, artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity, signals intelligence and more. Job Description
Are you looking to grow your expertise in analog and RF integrated circuit (IC) design? If so, we are looking for candidate with a strong foundation in the design of RF subsystems used in RF communication systems; e.g.LNAs, mixers, PLLs, and power amplifiers, to name a few. You will benefit from a strong mentoring culture through interaction with some of the top experts in the field. Moreover, you will take ownership of RF blocks and subsystems throughout the design life cycle in the concept, specification, design, evaluation, and documentation phases.
What we are looking for:
- 2 or more years in analog and RF IC circuit & system design ComputerAided Design (CAD) tools; e.g. Cadence Virtuoso, Spectrem, Momentum
- Strong understanding of RF and electromagnetic concepts including IC, package, and board level effects
- Principals of integrated circuit design in deep submicron process nodes
- Experience with test and measurement lab equipment

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain the necessary security clearance as required by government contract.
