Job Title: RF Calibration Technician
Job Description:
The RF technician is required to perform calibrations of RF and electrical MTE as a focus. Experience calibrating Dimensional, Mass, Force, & Weighing Devices, Mechanical, Thermodynamic and Time & Frequency MTE is a plus. The RF technician will be required to maintain laboratory equipment, including minor repairs and adjustments as necessary. Maintain electronic and written records of completed assignments.
Position Objectives:
- Perform calibrations accurately, timely and independently.
- Maintain N.I.S.T. traceability for all devices that are critical to the operation of
the calibration laboratory.
- Complete documentation accurately to ensure compliance and accountability.
- Record calibration records both electronically and hard copy.
- Use of Fluke Met/Team asset management system as well as Fluke Met/Cal for automated procedures.
- Write reports and parts request forms for special projects as needed.
- Work closely with the laboratory staff and supervisor to stay informed on all calibration activities.
- Assist metrology laboratory staff in working with customers and vendors while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Requirements:
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is a must.
- The ability to build, store, recall and maintain spreadsheets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Good vision, math skills and sharp eye-hand coordination
- Ability to analyze and interpret data.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Calibration school (CCT Certification), Military training, or 5 year's direct experience in the field of RF and electrical calibrations is desired.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
