Role Location:
This is a remote role, and we are open to candidates based anywhere in the United States or Canada with occasional in-person travel required throughout the USA & Canada.
This role is a global role, meaning that you will be engaging with colleagues and leaders located in varying time zones throughout Ignition's 3 operating regions - AMER, APAC & EMEA.
Job Description
About the team:
We are seeking a highly analytical and process-oriented Revenue Operations Director to optimize our global Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience technology stack, people and processes.
Reporting to the VP of Global Sales and Partnerships, you will be the champion in supporting revenue growth by driving operational efficiency across our global Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience teams. You will work proactively to create the conditions for our go-to-market team that will drive increased revenue growth through the implementation of process, data and tools. Your key stakeholders will also include the Global Head of Customer Experience & VP of Global Marketing.
You will work at a strategic level to identify opportunities that will improve operations across these functions and work at a tactical level, optimizing the systems and tools currently in place that power our teams to accurately measure go-to-market success and drive scalable and efficient revenue growth.
You will also spend a good portion of your time leading the Revenue Operations team members, who are located in Canada, Argentina and Australia, by coaching and rolling up your sleeves as needed.
What you'll be focused on:
  • Continually refine the tech stack to ensure seamless integration and efficiency across sales, marketing, customer experience, and other revenue-driving teams.
  • Develop robust pipeline management strategies and accurate forecasting models to ensure alignment with business goals and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Implement strategic lead, account, and territory management practices to optimize coverage and drive revenue growth. Ensure alignment with overall business strategies and market needs.
  • Analyze workflows and processes across teams, identifying strengths and pinpointing areas for improvement. Leverage data to drive strategic decisions and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Design and manage a comprehensive reporting architecture to track key performance indicators. Analyze reports to provide actionable insights to GTM leadership, enabling data-driven strategy adjustments.
  • Develop and oversee a competitive, motivating variable compensation structure that aligns with business objectives, incentivizes performance, and ensures equity across the team.
  • Provide strategic direction for sales enablement initiatives. Ensure the sales team is equipped with the training, tools, and resources needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Support executive leadership in commercial related areas, providing the Sales, Marketing, and CS organizations with streamlined communications and support processes including feedback loops and continual improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a global Revenue Operations team, promoting a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and adaptability.

Qualifications
What you'll need to succeed:
  • 7+ years of experience in managing operations of a high-velocity GTM team.
  • Passionate problem solver, with the ability to break down complex problems into simple narratives with context and recommendations, while calling out dependencies and risks.
  • Fluent in bowties analytics with a sharp eye for trends, inconsistencies and opportunities to improve revenue performance.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue productivity and operational efficiency across marketing, sales, and customer experience in a high velocity GTM motion.
  • Proficiency in CRM, enablement tools, and reporting/analytics platforms. Familiarity with HubSpot, Chili Piper, Gong, Apollo, and Looker is advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to take on key initiatives as the driver of the results and outcomes (i.e. roll up your sleeves and get it done)
  • Proven experience in leading and documenting change management initiatives with minimal impact on productivity. Demonstrated ability to navigate complex transformations smoothly, ensuring team alignment and business continuity.
  • Proven stakeholder and relationship management with members of Executive Leadership is significant, bonus points for global stakeholder management experience.
