The Revenue Management Specialist II
The Revenue Management Specialist II is responsible for supervising Revenue Management and IT projects, performs billing audits pre and post invoice & draft, perform QA functions for fellow team members, assists in training new agents, and ultimately drives efficiency and accuracy within the group. This is in addition to standard RM tasks and functions. Team is responsible for executing billing, updating payment results, payment processing, resolving customer issues/complaints, assisting in collection activities and resolves billing exceptions/cases. This position is about ensuring that our customers receive accurate, timely, and informative bills and requires an excellent communication, strong analytical skills, an ability to learn the intricacies of utility billing, leadership skills, and sound judgment. RM II agents will be a primary point of contact for our team. It will be necessary to develop relationships with other departments that will allow you to follow up, take initiative to find information to respond to questions, and create a positive overall relationship with the customer.
The Revenue Management Specialist II Responsibilities
    • Extensive billing research and root cause analysis as required
    • Work with our solar engineering team to gather energy production information from our fleet of solar power systems
    • Ensures accuracy and accurate processing of loan transactions
    • Process bills using our billing software and send them out to customers
    • Receive incoming customer payments and apply them in our software system
    • Answer incoming customer questions about billing
    • Create and answer cases in a timely manner
    • Complete controls and KPI reporting for the team
    • Manage projects from inception to completion
    • Identify proactive areas of improvement and facilitate change
    • Generate Default Letters and Emails
    • Dispatch cases for disconnect and reconnect
    • Apply annual true ups and production guarantees
    • Simplify the billing procedures to facilitate fast and effective processing of the bills
    • Ensure all cycle prep, controls, and KPI reporting is completed on time and in full each cycle
    • Ensure all billing cycles are processed accurately and on time
    • Ensure all billing, payment and collections cases are resolved within SLA
    • Coordinate with the third parties internally and externally (Exp: banks) while making and receiving payments
    • Ensure production guaranties are accurate and applied on schedule
    • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
    • Minimum of 4-6 years related billing/research experience.
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Exceptional experience with Microsoft Office (Excel), including proficiency with Vlookups, Pivot tables, and other advanced excel functions & formulas (Enabler, XL Connector, & SQL are strongly preferred).
    • Salesforce Experience preferred
    • Detail-oriented, ability to work within deadlines
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation and interpersonal skills a plus
