Job Responsibilities
- Prepare daily Pick up report across the portfolio every morning to be submitted to both corporate and on property teams
- Update the Daily Market Segmentation Report with the prior day’s actuals
- Enter weekly historical stats to STR
- Assist with completing all month end reports
- Assist with preparing short- and long-term forecasts
- Monitor and communicate fluctuations in occupancy to the Operations Dept so they can staff accordingly
- Ensure all distribution channels have the correct content and pricing
- Ongoing audit of hotel’s reservations on the books
- Assist DORM in monitoring comp set rates and other market intelligence to help keep an extra set of eyes on demand patterns
- Prepare documents for weekly revenue meetings
- Help develop room rates, pricing, and strategy across all segments for all properties
- Ability to lead revenue meetings and effectively communicate strategies in the absence of the DORM
- Maximize revenue potential and ensure proactive and accurate maintenance and management of all systems: such as StayNTouch, OPERA, SynXis, Duetto, LodgIQ and Delphi (Amadeus Advanced).
Job Descriptions/Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of data analytics and/or hotel revenue management experience
- Independent luxury resort experience is preferred
- Must be highly analytical and able to understand statistics and market conditions.
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills to understand and solve complex problems
- Must be proficient in Excel and quick to learn and setup new systems (PMS, CRS, etc)
- Must possess excellent communication, organizational, written, and verbal skills to articulate strategies and deployment to achieve strategies, present ideas, expectations, and information in a well-organized way.
- Must be able to interact efficiently and professionally with a diverse group of people, i.e., potential guests, guests, management, and property teams.
- Must have professionally setup home-office environment (dedicated workspace, fast wifi, good cell phone reception or home phone line)
- Position will require some travel to the hotel/resorts, typically no more than 25% of the work time.
- Location base for remote position: Southwest Florida, Southeast Florida, Florida Keys
- Must be able to legally work in the USA
