The Revenue Analyst position will be responsible for the preparation of revenue reports that will assist the Corporate Revenue Manager’s in implementing the Hotel's yield strategies. In addition, the Revenue Analyst will be required to Accurately prepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly revenue reports. The reports include market segmentation analysis, production reports, source contribution analysis, daily pick-up reports, preferred guest program analysis, etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with ensuring all rates are loaded and inventory maintenance is correct.
- Perform audits and maintenance on all systems such as PMS, CRS, RMS, and distribution channels to ensure content and information is correct.
- Must be knowledgeable of all rates, special rates, promotions, room types, and hotel product.
- Monitor and analyze the competition daily / weekly through shop reports and the Internet to identify selling strategies and market trends.
- Review TravelClick Business Intelligence reports for trends, booking windows and sources of business as well as forward-looking occupancy levels to craft smarter, more informed business decisions.
- Analyze local events and activities and project the effect of opportunities they create.
- Maintain pick-up reports and communicate upcoming group cut-offs.
- Participate in weekly revenue management meetings.
- Assist in preparing short- and long-term forecasts.
- Provide administrative support for the Revenue Management Team.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of Corporate and hotel employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with analytically automated Revenue Management Systems, major brand experience a plus.
- Ability to critically think and analyze STR and TravelClick Business Intelligence reports.
- Ability to work quickly in a high-pressure & high stress environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Exceptional with taking notes, prioritizing workload, and following up.
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required including monitoring your hotels on weekends should the need arise.
