Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated
Revenue Analyst Trainee to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. This position offers an opportunity for hands-on experience in various accounting functions, with a focus on revenue analysis and financial data management. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate accounts and records, supporting invoicing processes, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Hybrid role with 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:- Assist accounting associates in maintaining accounts and records related to revenue analysis.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to support decision-making processes.
- Aid in the preparation of invoices and monthly status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Review and verify transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and internal controls.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study preferred.
- Relevant internship or work experience in accounting or financial analysis is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance is advantageous.
