General Summary
We are looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own PSD's retention strategy and execution, driving repeat revenue, Lifetime Value and customer engagement through email, SMS and loyalty channels. This role will own lifecycle marketing development and implementation, including the management of third-party technology provider relationships, and will also be responsible for the measurement of all Retention Marketing initiatives and impact. The ideal candidate will understand user experience and digital design while being passionate about digital marketing, capable of making data-driven decisions to drive results.
Essential Job Functions
- Build the monthly communications plan across retention channels, working with merchandising and eCom site content teams to align storytelling concepts to channel activations and needs
- Execute all email, sms and push campaigns and automations from creative brief, segmentation, setup and deployment
- Drive the forecast and revenue plan for lifecycle channels (email, SMS, push). Own overall email and SMS list growth and health.
- Evolve the brand's communication strategy for a more personalized and engaging experience that balances conversation and commerce for long-term sustainable customer relationships
- Develop and execute a next-gen loyalty program that elevates the brand experience of our customers, as well as drives incremental revenue and LTV
- Maintain ongoing testing plan across existing channels to maximize performance, and introduce new channels (i.e. direct mail)
- Build weekly / monthly / quarterly reporting framework to measure channel-level performance and macro-business level impact via repeat orders, LTV growth, etc.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in and familiar with leading ESP/CRM platforms and tech stacks, Klaviyo experience strongly preferred
- A seasoned marketer that is comfortable marrying content strategy with data-driven programs
- You obsess over the customer journey and experience at each touchpoint
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to adapt to changes quickly.
- Natural curiosity in using data to support business decisions
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, including brand, creative, merchandising and agency teams
- Expertise in building and scheduling emails and SMS campaigns and building robust automated journeys
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in lifecycle/retention/loyalty marketing as a part of an eCommerce team, apparel experience a plus
