Role Overview: Team Leader
As a Team Leader, you will leverage your retail supervision experience to guide and develop your team while ensuring operational excellence within the store. Your role is pivotal in creating an inviting shopping experience for our customers through leadership, vision, and a commitment to Bargain Hunt's values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment for all team members.
- Manage store opening and closing procedures efficiently.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and effective functioning.
- Delegate tasks effectively, monitor team performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Take full responsibility for specific areas of the store, ensuring excellence.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and speed.
- Maintain store cleanliness and visual appeal, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Participate in the recruitment and development of store team members.
- Step into management roles as needed in the absence of Store Leader.
- Execute additional tasks as directed by Store or Operations Leader.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in retail supervision, with a stable work history (at least 2 years preferred).
- Ability to engage with and manage customer relations efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- A results-driven, goal-oriented mindset.
- Capability to operate store equipment and navigate all store areas.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
