THE HERBIVORE RETAIL
The Herbivore Napa Valley – the Retail Sales Supervisor (RSS) is responsible for the management, maintenance and supervision of day-to-day retail operations activity of the Napa Valley dispensary location. The RSS is accountable for all aspects of managing the retail store and its staff.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business to include daily cash counts – inventory control and maintaining a high level of operational oversight through frequent checks and balances.
The Supervisor position will ensure all associates adhere to the company mission statement, abide by a strict code of standard operating procedures and keep to core values while maintaining high ethical standards, attainable sales goals and professionalism. The position offers a fast track opportunity for immediate growth.
Responsibilities:
· Provide leadership and direction to a dedicated sales team / staff
- Work with Leading Cannabis Retail Brands / Ordering Product / Maintaining Inventory Surplus / Coordinating and negotiating BOGO Promotions ... in ALL areas of Retail
- Manage on-ground operations and daily finances of business to include:; Running closing reports; enter cash log information; establish weekly ‘budget’ setting aside staff salary; inventory deliveries; taxes; review tip payouts; daily sales summary (Smartsheet); weekly entries to GreenLedger / Blaze / Sharefile and/or ‘like’ operations systems
· Assist in managing on-ground operations and daily finances of business
- Be fluent with Metrc - Inventory and Compliance
· Recruit and train new hires on business practices
· Drive development of employees
· Ensure that quality of work and service is maintained
· Manage light clean up detail
· Oversight of inventory and daily inventory controls
· Responsible for overseeing sales team scheduling, sales team performance and the development, recruiting, training, and retention of high-caliber employees, including grooming staff for internal promotions and increased responsibility
Qualifications
· You have Cannabis Retail Budtending experience, proven leadership abilities with daily task support to General Management, underscored by Customer Service experience with strong organizational and administrative skills.
THIS IS MANDATORY - PLEASE BE EXPERIENCED in MANAGEMENT and POSSESS CANNABIS KNOWLEDGE !!
· Demonstrated ability to lead – you are the energy of the company and part of its core foundation
· Familiarity of the Cannabis industry and its emerging trends
· Experienced working with budgets, payroll, cash counts, daily revenue metrc and forecasting
· Strong communications skills
· A team player with experience in collaborative settings and established critical thinking skills
