We are seeking a Retail Sales Consultant to join our team! The successful candidate will interact with potential clients in our retail showrooms, assist with selection of materials for projects, provide in-home consultations and work with our associates to prepare and complete contracts, schedule installation and provide after sales follow up.
Responsibilities:
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Assist with product selection to meet our clients design requests
- Provide in-home consultation and estimation for selected products
- Company shop at home vehicle and samples provided for consultations
- Prepare and complete contracts for products/services
- Assist in scheduling installation services
- Provide after sales follow up to ensure client satisfaction
- Participate in on-going industry training to increase product knowledge
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Floor Covering or Home Improvement experience in sales and/or estimation is a plus but is not required
- Ability to interact with clients in a timely fashion and provide exceptional client service
- Detail-oriented and motivated to succeed
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal/listening)
- Must be punctual and responsible
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Word and Excel
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Driver's License and clean DMV driving record
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Previous sales experience
- Ability to lift/carry samples up to 10lbs.
Preferred:
- Floor Covering or Interior Design experience
- Bilingual
