Retail Sales Associate - Outdoor Power Equipment [Fnr]

Our Sales Associates are responsible for greeting customers, providing honest and informative answers to questions, making suggestions about products that customers might want, and performing necessary tasks for efficient department operation.  All JAX employees are expected to provide excellent customer service, engaging with people and sharing excitement about our store.  Responsibilities include stocking shelves, assisting the Department Manager, and providing customer feedback to Department Managers and the Buyersa Team so our stores remain stocked with only the best products our customers have come to expect from JAX. Additional tasks may include:

• Accurately processing payments
• Helping with visual merchandising 
• Maintaining a clean and well-stocked area 
• Complete record-keeping tasks and contributing to reports 
• Learning about products to provide better answers to customer questions
• Assisting in loss prevention efforts
• Communicating professionally
• Presenting a professional appearance and demeanor
• Taking steps to advance teamwork and develop solid working relationships with co-workers 
• Assisting in inventory responsibilities 

• Previous knowledge or experience with Outdoor Power Equipment brands carried by JAX preferred 
• Cashiering experience desired
  
• Computer proficiency required

Schedule Requirements:

• Must be available Thursdays through Sundays 
• Flexible shifts available 

Pay Range:  $14.00 - $16.10

Positions:  1 Part-Time position
