Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, friendly, out-going, business-minded individual to join our growing team! As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be greeting clients with a smile, assisting with their shopping needs and ensuring an excellent shopping experience! As an Art Instructor, you will help our clients create beautiful pieces of art, in a fun, stress-free environment! No Art skill is needed! We will train you!

Responsibilities may include: working front desk, gallery/art class experience sales, building/maintaining client relationships, making art fun for your clients, inventory management, resining artwork, mixing paint and maintaining the studio's cleanliness and appearance.

General Responsibilities

• Great each customer with a smile and provide an excellent shopping experience.
• Gives art gallery/studio tours to explain our art, merchandise and experience offerings
• Be a team player who works well with others and contributes to the overall well-being of the studio
• Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
• Sets up displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
• Stamps, marks, or tags prices on merchandise.
• Collects payment via cash or credit card and assists with issuing any refunds to clients
• Answers the phone and offers assistance with client bookings and art experience details
• Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives set for by the company
• Assist management in developing community relationships to promote studio/gallery sales and events
• Teach fluid and resin art experiences to individuals and small groups
• Develop and maintain solid product knowledge to drive sales and assist clients with their selections
• Provide fun, stress-free art experiences while keeping an organized studio space
• Studio clean-up and organization to accommodate different-sized groups and art experiences
• Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory and store cleanliness and maintenance
• Assist management with social media as needed
• Assist with set-up and hosting small group events
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 2 Years working in a sales or customer-service related position
• Availability: Evenings and Weekends a must

• Ability to listen and learn new techniques

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand for periods of time
• Moving up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
