JOB DESCRIPTION - SALES ASSOCIATE

The Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales, daily operations, merchandising, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities:

• Successfully meet and exceed sales results and business goals by building strong customer relationships to maximize loyalty and continually provide a great consumer experience.
• Build sales by demonstrating a customer-centric mindset, utilizing selling behaviors and providing solutions and inspiration through customer interactions with a genuine passion for the brand, the customer, and the product.
• Ensure product is always available to the customer and is presented in a compelling way that is consistent with visual guidelines and brand standards on the sales floor or and in the stockroom areas.
• Using strong communication skills, you will work collaboratively with your team to achieve store objectives and sales results.
• Adhere to policies and procedures, standards and practices and company directives.
• Protect company assets and comply with safety, security, and shrink avoidance policies and programs. Report all concerns to management.
• Maintain a positive attitude and are flexible to the changing needs of the customer and the business.
• Model behavior that respects the background, experience, and cultural differences of others as part of an inclusive store environment.

Skills for Success

• 0-1 years of related professional/retail experience preferred but not required
• A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
• Ability to be solution oriented and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical requirements: Standing required for entire work shift. Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds (as needed).
