We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This is a full time Monday thru Friday 9:30-6:00 and Saturday 9:30- 5:00. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product information and demonstrate product features
- Assist customers with product selection and offer recommendations
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Assist with inventory management and restocking merchandise
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
- Meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store
Requirements:
- Previous Retail Sales experience preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing calculations
- Proficient in using technology for point-of-sale systems and product demonstrations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills to address customer needs and concerns
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone
- Experience in technical sales or technology-related products
- Multilingual abilities to assist diverse customers
