SalaryPrincess Liquors in Port Saint Lucie is looking for a part time sales associates that possesses great personal work ethic, social skills, sales experience, and the ability to help market our craft beer, wine and liquor selections. Please read below to see if you qualify. Room for advancement within the company. Candidate will be subject compliance of company policies, including background and drug tests.
Minimum Qualifications:
*Must be 25 Years or older
*Must have a positive job history with adequate references from past employers.
*Able to comply with policies and procedures.
*Understand the English Language
*Authorized to work in the USA through E Verify, possessing valid paperwork.
*Able to receive direct deposit.
*Must pass criminal background check
*1-2 Years Retail Experience, liquor, wine and beer preferred.
*Must be able to life 35 lbs
*Able to work Days, Nights, Weekends and Holidays on rotation
*Must have reliable transportation to and from the work location.
Responsibilities and job functions include but are not limited to the following :
*Person must act with integrity, honesty and knowledge to promote the culture, values and the mission of the company.
*Must be pleasant, outgoing, professional, courteous and have strong written and verbal skills in the English language.
*Educated or advanced in MAC/PC, Email, & POS organized and able to multi-task.
*Person must be able to maintain a calm demeanor during busy times or unusual events to keep the store operating up to standards.
*Must greet every customer with a friendly hello and a thank you after the purchase.
*Able to observe customers and check ID’s for all alcoholic and cigarette purchases.
*Person will be accountable for registers and petty cash on each shift, and follow store policies and operational procedures on cash handling, all reporting, safety and security.
*Person must be able to watch for acts of theft and criminal activity in the store, and notify management of any theft by personnel or customer. Be able to identify counter fit bills, and follow all credit card policies.
*Person should have knowledge of wine, beer and spirits for a good customer experience.
*Able to anticipate customer and store needs and communicate well with the management.
*Have the ability to deliver exceptional customer service to all by acting as customer first within the store guidelines and policies.
*Must be able to execute store operations during your scheduled shift, perform open and close duties as assigned.
*Must be able to work independently or with other team members.
*Must be able to read, sort, check and verify all incoming and outgoing orders.
*Have the ability to understand store policies, and enforce them with customers.
*Must rotate stock accordingly and stock shelves and coolers on each shift.
*Must keep the work area clean and free from Safety hazards.
*Must have the ability to do simple arithmetic, and count change in the event of a power failure.
*Must possess the ability to spot problems and notify management.
*Assist with in store tastings and promotional events.
