The Retail Communications & Engagement Coordinator develops and executes Retail's communication strategies, and drives Retail community engagement through effective management of Retail's digital communication & social platform. This individual will play a key role in Retail Operations by strategically targeting communication and publishing content from cross-functional partners and Retail leadership to empower store teams to drive business results, deliver a best-in-class customer experience, and inspire team collaboration & engagement. This role will report directly to the Director of Retail Operations.
This is a remote position that must be based out of NYC or LA.
What You Get To Do Every Day
- Write, edit, and publish impactful communications to stores, delivering daily, weekly, and monthly content on business drivers, new Retail initiatives, community updates and activities, etc.
- Manage and measure the impact of communication campaigns, readership, understanding, and engagement, continuously evaluating effectiveness of content and surfacing opportunities to increase employee awareness.
- Develop a Retail communication visual style, voice, and strategic content calendar, in collaboration with cross functional partners.
- Maintain and upkeep all internal library resources and messaging within our internal communications platform
- Strategically drive and partner to maximize employee engagement on the platform
- Lead compliance efforts on task management with Store Leadership
- Assist with the maintenance of the Retail Planning Calendar
- Partner with vendor Zipline to maximize effectiveness and incorporate best practices
- Support in content creation & organization of Retail virtual & live events
What You Bring To The Role
- Bachelor's Degree within Business Management, Communications or a related field
- 2+ years direct experience in Retail Communications roles directly supporting a minimum of 10 stores is required; experience in a high-growth retail environment is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal, written, and graphic design communication skills
- Strong understanding of store operations and field team needs
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects at once and feels comfortable with decision making based on key focuses determined by Retail Leadership and Manager.
- Ability to use data and feedback to identify gaps in process and inefficiencies and help implement improvements
- Must be self-motivated, high energy, and comfortable working in a fast paced, remote, work environment
- A quick learner with strong systems skills to manage multiple internal platforms and systems simultaneously
The expected salary range for this role is $68,136.00- $75,000.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
