Position: Boutique Sales Associate with Social Media and Online Support Skills

You must be able to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.
This part-time position is for approx. 10-15 hours a week with 1-2 weekdays and weekend availability.

Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and interact with customers, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the boutique.
- Provide expert guidance on product selection, addressing pets' unique needs while utilizing your excellent sales skills.
- Provide support in managing our social media platforms, including responding to comments and assisting with content creation.
- Assist with maintaining our boutique's website, ensuring accurate product listings and timely updates.
- Craft engaging posts, stories, and updates that showcase our products, promotions, and offer pet care insights.
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of our boutique's website, ensuring accurate product listings and up-to-date promotions.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute creative marketing campaigns that drive foot traffic and online sales.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking, and maintaining an appealing visual display within the boutique.
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
Skills
- Genuine passion for pets and a desire to understand their unique requirements.
- Proven sales experience in a retail environment, with a natural ability to connect with customers.
- Strong familiarity with social media platforms and website navigation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented and organized, capable of assisting with various tasks effectively.
- Prior experience in retail or pet-related roles is a plus.
- Understanding of the retail sales process.
- Track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- High school degree.
- Ability to work independently & efficiently.
