Sales Associate/Key Holder

Job Description:

Luxe Boutique, a high volume prom dress store located in Rockville Centre, NY is seeking a Sales Associate and Key Holder to join our team. As a sales associate / key holder you will be required to open and close store, style customers, help with daily business operations and ensure store runs smoothly during each shift. This postion has potential to turn into an assistant manager position if the right person is found and trained!

Responsibilities:
- oversee daily operations, keeping store organized, tidy and ensuring smooth functioning of the store
- Provide exceptional customer service and uphold high reputation of LUXE Boutique and help us stand out from our competition
- provide excellent customer service at all times
- ability to work retail hours especially during prom season (dec - june) including weekends , holidays and some evenings ( operating hours are 11-6 or 11-8)
- ensure inventory is properly stocked, steamed and neatly displayed
- ability to listen to customers wants and have the knowledge to put together outfits and pick out gowns to accentuate each customers unique shape
- will be trained to work shopify, pos retail system and post on social media
- Handle cash and credit transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory we are willing to train the right person

- Strong communication skills, and able to make people feel their best
- Leadership qualities to motivate and guide team members

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
