What Will Be Expected:

• Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and assisting customers in a friendly and attentive manner.
• Collaborate with the Beginnings team members while fostering positivity in a fast paced environment to achieve sales targets and overall success of the store.
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the store’s products, brands, and fashion trends to provide personalized styling advice and recommendations to customers.
• Maintain a visually appealing and organized store layout to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Assist with visual merchandising and window displays to showcase the latest products and promotions attractively.
• Stay informed about new arrivals, promotions, and upcoming events to effectively communicate this information to customers.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Preferred previous experience in retail, especially in fashion
• Excellent customer service skills, including friendliness, helpfulness and a positive attitude
• Have a good sense of fashion and stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends to help customers find the right outfits and provide style advice
• Sales skills to promote products effectively, upsell, and close sales
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, understanding their needs and conveying information about the products and promotions
• The ability to work as a team player, working closely with other staff members to maintain the store and ensure smooth operations
• Be adaptable to fast-paced and dynamic environments, changes, and ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Dependability skills to provide consistent and reliable customer satisfaction, as well as uplift and support team members to maintain success of the store
• Problem solving to handle customer concerns and find solutions to various issue that may arise during the shopping process

Beginnings has two locations, either/both locations are in need of some amazing new people to help brighten the stores:

• Scarsdale, NY
• Armonk, NY

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
