SalaryBELFOR University is the Training Department of the world's largest property restoration company. We are seeking a new Training Content Creator to work with subject matter experts in the creation of new e-learning content. This will be a remote position from anywhere within the US.
The Content Creator will be innovative, creative, and possess a passion to build an exciting, interactive Training Content library that is differentiated and able to address all learning styles and abilities. The Content Creator is also responsible for creating differentiated formative and summative assessments that measure learner master of content.
Responsibilities
- Prepare well-structured scope and sequence and follow training plans.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gain insight on training needs.
- Strong technological skills
- Ability to leverage content in a learning management system.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create scripting for learning content dialogue that delivers clear understanding of the training.
- Ability to create digital content using: Storyline 360, Video editing (Camtasia or Adobe Premier), and PowerPoint presentations.
- Edit and proof all completed content.
- Create differentiate trainings and assessments to ensure learning is taking place.
- Recommend new courses.
- Update content as needed.
- Create outside the box, engaging, and interactive content with assessments to validate mastery of material.
- Gather information and course elements from members, internal departments, and others sources.
- Direct photos/video shoots to gather required imagery for clear learning of intricate detailed learning objectives.
- Create training materials geared to various audiences and learning styles.
- All other duties assigned by Director for Training
- High School Diploma.
- Candidate will need to have experience in:
- Articulate Storyline 360
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Premier or Camtasia
- Adobe After Effects
- Experience preferences:
- 1-2 years building e-learning and on-the-job content
- 1-2 years experience working with Articulate Storyline
- 2-3 years experience with Adobe products as listed.
- 3-6 years of experience in a training capacity
- Knowledge of the building restoration industry
- Training in and experience applying knowledge in different learning styles
- Assessing comprehension of learners
- Successfully giving feedback with positive results
