Job Summary:
As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for restoring properties that have been damaged by water, fire, mold, or other disasters. You will utilize your expertise in water damage restoration, asbestos abatement, carpet cleaning, and mold remediation to ensure that properties are restored to their pre-damage condition. This is a hands-on role that requires the use of power tools and hand tools to complete restoration tasks.
I'm seeking part time workers for labor. You do not have to have any experience, I will train you. This position can lead to full time position in the future. As of right now I just need part time help, as needed. This position would not be great for someone as a primary source of income, as it is as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to emergency restoration calls
- Assess the extent of damage and develop a restoration plan
- Perform water extraction and drying procedures
- Remove and dispose of damaged materials, including asbestos if necessary
- Clean and sanitize affected areas to prevent mold growth
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to repair and restore damaged structures
- Collaborate with team members to complete restoration projects efficiently
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
