We provide services for water damage, mold cleanup, biohazard, fire and smoke. Our experienced technicians are capable of assessing the damage to your property and personal items, initiating immediate repairs and creating plans for a full restoration of our clients' properties to its pre-damaged condition.
Role Description
PuroClean of West Los Angeles is seeking a full-time Restoration Project Manager for its operations located in Santa Monica & downtown Los Angeles, CA. The Restoration Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Restoration Projects and ensuring that the projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. They will be working on-site with clients and restoration teams to provide exceptional customer service and quality of work throughout the restoration process.
- Build relationships with current and new customers.
- Determine resources needed for Emergency Response type work.
- Negotiate rates with sub-contractors and vendors.
- Supervise, train, and motivate technicians.
- Conduct regular and routine safety and quality inspections.
- Assist technicians in solving complex emergency and mitigation problems and situations.
- Ensure that the company’s policies and procedures are followed including jobsite safety program for all assigned jobs.
- Set up a budget for projects – oversee and manage financials – monthly forecasting
- Participate in pre-construction meetings; consistently inspect job sites; produce weekly reports to the executive leader of Restoration; verify field documentation is being completed and uploaded.
- Create reports on the financial health of projects.
- Oversee job setup for each project and cultivate & maintain healthy, effective, and mutually beneficial relationships with vendors and subcontractors, while seeking out new sources for the same. Spot-check payables weekly.
- Investigate and resolve client inquiries and complaints, with emphasis on client satisfaction and retention.
- Advise executive leadership of any staffing and projects concerns.
- Create increased profitability through creative cost-saving measures.
- Participate in the emergency on-call rotation.
- Respond to Catastrophic events in other markets to assist with emergency response, as needed.
- Practice safe driving and encourage direct reports to do likewise.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related fields is preferred
- Previous experience in Restoration Project management is preferred
- Experience in equipment, asset, and financial management
- Understanding of safety guidelines and ability to manage them on site and while traveling
- Aptitude with record keeping, recording information and communicating ‘the message’
- Ability to identify areas of opportunity among teammates, coaching for growth
- Strength in team building and establishing lasting relationships with clients and teammates
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Exceptional customer service, leadership and communication skills
- IICRC Certification in Water Damage Restoration, Structural Drying, and Mold Remediation is preferred
