Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages to customers
- Ensure tables are clean and properly set up before seating new customers
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer concerns or inquiries
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Assist with cleaning duties, such as clearing tables and sanitizing work areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment
Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift heavy trays or objects. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may also be required.
