As a Server at Drakes, you help maintain the success of the restaurant. We are in search of someone with strong customer service skills and a willingness to meet guests' needs quickly and politely.
As a Server at Drakes, you'll:
- Prepare tables for guests
- Attend to customers upon entrance
- Take and serve guests' orders in a timely fashion
- Become familiar with the menu to confidently answer questions and recommend options
- Manage large groups quickly and efficiently through attentive service and precise order-taking
- Communicate with the back-of-house staff to report any dietary restrictions/requests and follow through prior to service
- Maintain a clean and quality fine dining atmosphere and handle guest complaints/requests quickly
- Issue bills and process payments
- Holds a high school diploma or GED
- Possesses excellent people skills and a friendly attitude
- Has a great deal of patience, consideration and tact in order to effectively communicate with customers and other staff
- Is able to meet the physical demands of the job, which may include lifting, carrying, serving and continually walking
- Is able to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Has strong time management and organization skills
- Has prior restaurant/food service experience (preferred, but not required)
