Job description

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a Restaurant Manager to join our team at Niagara Falls State Park in Niagara Falls, New York. With excellent hospitality and management skills, you will shine in our collaborative team. By prioritizing guest service excellence, you will be responsible for the coordination, supervision, and execution of all restaurant functions and will assist with the catering of events.

Delaware North is the food and beverage, and retail provider at Niagara Falls State Park since dating back to 1995. Our operations include the Top of the Falls restaurant, which offers diners a spectacular view of the natural wonder.


  • Oversight of FOH staff for Top of the Falls restaurant, including scheduling and leadership.
  • Ensure and monitor actions of staff are in line with company quality, sanitary, and legal standards.
  • Work with sales team for securing and completing catering and events.
  • Assisting with the management of the concessions team.
  • Assist team member training monitor their performance while keeping an open communication for corrections needed
  • Maintain positive guest relations and high standards of service, addressing concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with administrative tasks including ordering and inventory
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle.

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a managerial position in a restaurant with a similar style of dining, capacity and volume.
  • Servsafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) certification required.
  • Catering operations experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong financial and computer skills; experience working with and understanding P&Ls and developing and managing budgets, as well as Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and point-of-sale systems
  • Exceptional communication skills and an ability to anticipate guest and employee needs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
