As a General Manager at Mister O1, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed, and that our customers are receiving an extraordinary experience. You will be expected to work 50-55 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of managers and team members to provide exceptional service and maintain a "MISTER O1 EXTRAORDINARY EXCELLENCE" environment.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices.
- Monitor and analyze ROS (Restaurant Operational Standards) results to determine bonus potential.
- Be knowledgeable about the menu, quality expectations, and able to answer any questions.
- Anticipate guest needs, effectively interact, and constantly coach the team while knowing how the team is executing with service and pizza quality.
- Be transparent about individual's performance opportunities and provide both positive and constructive feedback.
- Work in the dining room to monitor guests' food and service experience, actively coaching the team when needed.
- Utilize pre-shift notes to inform and energize the team.
- Ensure the restaurant is guest-ready 15 minutes before open with music playing and at least one server out front ready to greet a guest.
- Achieve a minimum of 60 Google Reviews per week with a rating of 4.9 or better.
- Maintain ROS of 91% or higher and self-identify opportunities for improvement by completing a minimum of two ROS per month.
- Maintain a great restaurant environment with positive energy.
- Review schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed every day at the par level.
- Ensure the restaurant never runs out of food and reach out to the Director at the first sign of an issue.
- Ensure pizza quality is 100% correct before it is boxed for take-out or given to the guest in the dining room.
- Ensure that everyone follows the uniform guidelines, uniforms are checked every day, and issues are fixed immediately.
- Ensure that trainees are always with a trainer until they are 100% signed off as completing training.
- Ensure that employee food is rung in correctly, and if an employee brings their food, there is a separate labeled bin with a lid in the cooler for everyone to use.
- Ensure all new hires complete Playerlync training.
- Receive a 90% or higher on the internal food safety audit and receive zero critical violations.
- Monitor UberEats all day to ensure it is always online, and do not turn off any sales channels unless approved by the Director.
- Ensure current food safety certification is up to date per State Health Department Regulation.
- Foster a food safety culture that is in compliance with State Health Department Regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a General Manager or similar leadership position in the restaurant industry.
- Ability to work 50-55 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to monitor and analyze ROS results to determine bonus potential.
- Food Safety Certification up to date per State Health Department Regulation.
