Job Description
OVERVIEW
Coordinate, facilitate and deliver Employee Programs and their systems which promote employee engagement throughout the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
1. Assists the Manager of Employee Engagement Programs with planning and executing internal presentations that onboard, engage, and introduce employees to the Sheetz culture including history, mission, vision, values, recognition programs and events. (MTO-U, New Director Meetings, Support Staff Orientations, etc.)
2. Assists with current programs to actively recognize and engage employees; Veteran’s Day Program, Welcome Booklets, Holiday Cookie Distribution, Holiday Card Contest.
3. Oversees tuition reimbursement program: reviewing employee applications, determining eligibility, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained, processing applications and payouts to employees.
4. Designs, promotes and manages programs that enhance employee development and retention through, scholarships and partnerships with colleges and universities. Participate on education advisory boards as requested.
5. Responsible for inventory management of all orientation and recognition inventory items for presentations.
6. Manages Employee Discount programs as a major driver of employees to Bob.Sheetz.com including the approval and continuous review of discount partners, while collaborating with other departments in HR
7. Engage with various department leads within the organization in the planning and execution of corporate events that celebrate and recognize employees. Management of a variety of programs that promote a culture of caring within the company.
8. Monitors and updates recognition and engagement content on BOB.Sheetz.com and executes activites to engage employees.
9. Provide public presentations as requested to enhance Sheetz employee brand in the community.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Associate’s Degree required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications or Organizational Leadership preferred
Experience
- 2 years of experience in Human Resources and / or an employee recognition related position preferred
- Sheetz experience preferred
