Position Summary:
We are seeking a Restaurant Equipment Technician with experience with HOT and COLD deck equipment . This position requires a self-motivated, competent individual with a high energy level who is able to work alone or with others in a field environment.

Job Description:
As a Restaurant Equipment (hot and cold deck) technician, you will perform service and maintenance tasks on commercial and industrial mechanical equipment including air and water-cooled scroll, screw and centrifugal chillers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Perform assigned chiller maintenance and troubleshooting task safely in industrial and commercial restaurant settings including manufacturing/processing, healthcare buildings, educational buildings, etc.
Service, diagnose and troubleshoot various types of chillers and hot deck equipment
Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools to troubleshoot equipment systems
Oversee customer service needs including quoting/estimating time and material jobs
Perform preventative maintenance and repair of industrial and commercial and general maintenance in the restaurant industry.
Work independently to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frame
Operate company vehicle to complete service calls in a specified territory
Assist with training and oversight of a small team of technicians
Participate in and attend specialized safety and equipment training programs when provided.
Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned
Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications
5 or more years of experience repairing and troubleshooting industrial and commercial restaurant hot and cold deck systems
Experience performing service and maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment
Understand all aspects of HVAC equipment/systems service and repair including complaint resolution, sales and quoting
EPA universal certification
OSHA 10 hour preferred

Ability to stand, squat, bend, climb, stoop and comfortably lift up to 40 lbs.
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work within a team setting and assist with training for other service technicians
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
Ability to pass MVR check
Ability to pass a physical ability test
Ability to travel, as needed, for projects
