The RN is this dynamic clinic collaborates daily with physicians, advanced practice providers, RN's and other health care staff members to provide care through a team approach. The GI Subspecialty Outpatient Clinics care for patients with a wide variety of disorders that affect the liver, pancreas, esophagus, colon, rectum and digestive system which may include chronic liver disease, pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, gastroesophageal reflux disease, Barrett's esophagus, eosinophilic esophagitis, achalasia, esophageal cancer, colon cancer, colon polyps, inflammatory bowel disease, crohn's disease ulcerative colitis, diarrhea, constipation, celiac disease, pelvic floor dysfunction, irritable bowel syndrome and gastroparesis.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in Gastroenterology nursing. Must be reliable/dependable, have great communication skills and be able to work in tandem with physician's, fellows-in-training, and nursing staff.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program. Current unencumbered NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license.
