Restaurant Crew Member

Marina Café is a well established waterfront eatery, serving breakfast and lunch. Established in 2018, it has developed a cult following of customers, and has achieved the highest google rating in Palm Beach County.

We are looking for a full-time Restaurant Crew Member to perform many essential duties in multiple areas. This includes, but is not limited to,

· Providing excellent customer service and operating the restaurant’s POS system

· Operating the grill and handling all aspects of food preparation

· Barista responsibilities, using a state of the art cappuccino and latte equipment, and smoothie preparation

· Executing on both front and back of the house responsibilities, as directed by management.

· Starting salary up to $16 per hour.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: The intellectual and physical demands described below are representative of what must be met by Crewmembers to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds

· Must be 18 years of age, and have reliable transportation to and from work. Able to work weekdays, nights, and weekends. Able to show up to scheduled shifts on time.

· One year of restaurant experience, fast food chain and diner experience a plus.

· Positive and friendly attitude, ability to execute on established restaurant processes and protocols.

· Kneel, bend, twist or stoop

· Reach and grasp objects (including above head and below waistline)

• Excellent verbal and written communication. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Cleaning tables, floors and other areas of the Restaurant
• Taking orders from Customers and processing payments efficiently
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food
• Ability to multitask

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
