Join the Respiratory Team at Community First Medical Center while in your last Semester
7pm-7:30am
The second-year Externs will perform basic respiratory care treatments and procedures under the proximal supervision of a licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist. Provides for patient assessment to determine cardiopulmonary status, implement appropriate patient care protocols, or to maintain/improve cardiopulmonary hemodynamic status.
Requirements:
- Second-year final semester students in an approved and accredited Respiratory Care Program with evidence of continued enrollment
- CPR- BLS, ACLS/PALS preferred
- Must demonstrate effective and accurate communication, documentation and technical skills, both verbally and in writing
