Job Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our dedicated team at Kulana Malama. As a vital member of our healthcare family, you will contribute to the well-being of medically fragile children by providing specialized respiratory care in our unique, child-friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat respiratory conditions in medically fragile children.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments with a focus on creating a positive and comfortable experience for each child.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic care for our young patients.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Provide education to families on respiratory care techniques and disease management.
Qualifications:
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Hawaii.
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Ability to work with sensitivity and empathy in a pediatric healthcare setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR and BLS certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pediatric respiratory therapy.
- Familiarity with child-friendly therapeutic approaches.
