Respiratory Therapist 1

· Graduate of an accredited CoARC (The Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) respiratory care program.

· Licensed Respiratory Therapist and eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

· Eligible to sit for the National Board of Respiratory Care Advanced Practitioner exam (Registered Respiratory Therapist). Certified Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.

· Basic Life Support from AHA upon start.

Respiratory Therapist 2

· Graduate of an accredited CoARC (The Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) respiratory care program.

· Licensed Respiratory Therapist and eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

· Six months in a critical care environment or one or more years of specialized training in advanced diagnostics/pulmonary rehabilitation as a practicing Respiratory Therapist.

· Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or more than 10 years of experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist as defined by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).

· Advanced Certifications (ACLS, PALS or NRP) must be obtain within one year from date of hire.

· Basic Life Support from AHA upon start.

Respiratory Therapist 3

· Graduate of an accredited CoARC (The Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) respiratory care program.

· Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Respiratory Therapist

· Two years in a critical care environment experience

· Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). One of the following (ACLS, PALS or NRP). In addition, must possess one of the following: an additional Advance Certification (ACLS, PALS or NRP) or an Advanced Credential (ACCS, AEC, NPS, RPFT, CPFT or SDS) or a relevant Bachelor’s Degree.

· Basic Life Support from AHA upon start.

Respiratory Therapist 4

· Graduate of an accredited CoARC (The Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) respiratory care program.

· Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Respiratory Therapist

· Five years in a critical care and/or advanced diagnostics experience with multiple age populations.

· Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). One of the following (ACLS, PALS or NRP). In addition, must possess one of the following: an additional Advance Certification (ACLS, PALS or NRP) or an Advanced Credential (ACCS, AEC, NPS, RPFT, CPFT or SDS) or a relevant bachelor's degree.

· Basic Life Support from AHA upon start.
