Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

• Hiring RTs that reside in Long Beach area.
• Traveling is required due to patient home visits
• Require RTs to be available 4 days a week.
• Can see patient on the weekend
• Schedule is flexible
• Mileage reimbursement for Travel
• RTs are required to handle a minimum of 10 patients
• Wages are structured to be competitive. Make anywhere up to $1,600 a week or more.

Respiratory Skills/ Tasks

• Ability to work as a dependable, informed and engaged with patients
• Ability to consistently provide world-class customer service to patients, families, visitors and fellow healthcare providers
• Ability to demonstrate the skill set necessary to accurately assess pulmonary status of patients served
• Ability to collaborate with the patient care team to appropriately establish, evaluate and adjust the plan of care according to patient needs within the scope of practice of the RCP license and policies of Home Health
• Ability to safely and effectively perform all therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care modalities in the Respiratory Care scope of service
• Ability to meaningfully participate and contribute to the success of Q&A
• Ability to high quality patient and family education
• Ability to perform tracheostomy Care
• Ability to perform pulmonary Rehabilitation
• Ability to work with Ventilator, BiPAP, and CPAP to make sound changes to improve patient care.
• Ability to setup equipment

Minimum Requirements

• Must reside in Long Beach area eligibility for hire
• All experience welcome
• Minimum AS Degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent
• Must have RRT if graduate in 2015- to current
• CRT before or during the of year 2014 will qualify if only certification that is held by the RT.
• Licensed by the Respiratory Care Board of California as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP), required
• American Heart Association BLS (CPR) Card, required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $1,600.00 per week
