Resource Development Manager Job Summary
**$1,000 Sign-On Bonus and $100 Gas Gift Card
The Resource Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure funding and support consistent with the organization’s mission, values, and strategic plan. This position will focus on retaining and cultivating existing donors and supporters, while building relationships with new potential donors and supporters. This position will work collaboratively with the Executive Team to develop creative campaigns, building awareness and interest in NILP programs, services, and special events. A successful Resource Development Manager will be resourceful in planning, organizing, and prioritizing initiatives.
What you will be doing:
· Responsible for the overall planning, development, and organization of department related events
· Participating in community activities to promote the acquisition and retention of individual donors and volunteers
· Manage a donor database to track giving and engagement with NILP, as well as track volunteer and event engagement
- Supervise development and marketing staff
- Lead the Development team in implementing all fundraising efforts including the annual giving campaign, special events, fundraisers, mailings, etc.
- Manage online giving, including development of a monthly gift program
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Who we are looking for?
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, nonprofit management, or related field and three to five years of relevant work experience in these areas. This requirement may be substituted with equivalent independent living experience as a person living with a disability.
- Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis skills
- Grant writing experience a plus
- Well organized, ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Proficient skills with technology including Microsoft 365, Teams, mobile devices, applications, and database management
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
· Ability to travel independently & reliable transportation required
