Kalahari Resorts and Conventions delivers a beyond-expectations waterpark resort and conference experience all under one roof. We are inviting you to apply for our Executive Pastry Chef position. In this role, you will directly manage all bake shop operations and associates. The Executive Pastry Chef is responsible for the daily operations of the pastry department for banquet functions, restaurant and outlet operations, storeroom requisitions, daily production sheets, consistency of plate presentations, as well as product specification. They will also standardize recipes to assist in reaching profitability guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals.
We do require that you have a background, consisting of a minimum 4-5 years' experience in a high-volume/fine dining/Banquet/Pastry production kitchen. Also, must have a minimum 3 years' previous supervisory experience with organizing and scheduling employees to maximize efficiency.
