SalaryThe Youth Counselor functions as part of the treatment team and is responsible for the direct care and supervision of adolescent girls in a group home. The Youth Counselor helps to maintain a positive therapeutic environment which builds on the strength in our youth and encourages success. As part of their daily responsibilities Youth Counselors provide life skills education, recreational activities and meal preparation. It is a four day schedule including one weekend shift.

Minimum requirements for the position: BA in related field (social work, psychology, etc) or a BA in an unrelated field and 6 months experience working with children. NJ Driver's license required.
It is a four day schedule: Tues: 3-11pm, Wed: 12-11 pm, Fri- 8-4 p.m, Sat: 9-11 pm.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
