Residential Director

Job Duties:
•Responsible for the overall implementation of Residential services statewide in accordance with the mission, philosophy and policies of American Work, LLC, as well as HFRD regulations, CARF standards and DBHDD Residential Services contractual obligations.
•Provides oversight of all Residential Services statewide, including Community Residential Rehabilitation Level I, Community Residential Rehabilitation Level III and Short-Term Transitional Residential.
•Manages all Residential Services, including Community Residential Rehabilitation Level I, Community Residential Rehabilitation Level III and Short-Term Transitional Residential in local area.
•Coordinates with Area Directors and Residential Program Managers in other areas of the state to ensure they are implementing Residential Services according to HFRD regulations, CARF standards and DBHDD Residential Services contractual obligations.
•Ensures all Residential Services are in compliance with HFRD regulations.
•Ensures Residential Services are in compliance with DBHDD Community Residential Rehabilitation Program standards.
•Coordinates CRR Quality Reviews for AmericanWork.
•Responsible for statewide Residential reporting to DBHDD.
•Provide reports to State Director as requested.
•Develops Policies and Procedures for Residential Services for State Director review and CQI approval.
•Provides clinical oversight of treatment and program implementation.
•Provides direct supervision and training to residential staff.
•Reviews and coordinates evaluation of resident referrals for placement and continuing until discharge.
Job Qualifications:
•Must possess a clinical license (LPC, LAPC, LMSW, LCSW) or be license eligible.
•Display knowledge with clinical aspects of MH, SA, co-occurring Diseases.
•Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
•Independently makes decisions and has organization skills.
•Must be able to demonstrate an understanding and sensitivity to the diverse and special needs population served.
•Must possess a valid Georgia Driver's License;
•Have a clean Motor Vehicle Records (MVR);
•Have a clean Criminal Back Ground Check (no convictions or shown credible evidence of perpetrating abuse, neglect or sexual exploitation - child or adult).
Core Competencies Required

• Demonstrate ability to assess psychological, psychiatric needs, including consumer history/current psych, medical, substance abuse, sexual risks, and accurately documents all clinical information. Reports, follows up, makes referrals as needed or indicated.
• Ability to supervise support staff, nurses, supervisors in the performance of clinically related duties and maintenance of assigned worksite.
• Able to insure provision of care, clinical interventions and client response are documented in accordance with HFRD, CARF and American Work, LLC policy and procedures.
• Demonstrates ability to establish rapport, interview, obtain & discern information re: symptoms, current functioning, needs, risk, safety concerns, for MH & SA assessment of consumers.
• Adhere to policy and procedure of agency, HFRD, CARF Standards.
• Able to interact effectively with supervisors, nurses, and support staff, both verbally and in writing, to insure adequate communication during delivery of services and care.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
