Director of Residential Services

Wesley Glen Ministries is seeking an experienced Residential Director at our Macon Georgia location. The Residential Director must be thoroughly knowledgeable of the operations, policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards necessary to support the monitoring, assessment, and oversight of all IDD service areas. Residential Director is responsible for the oversight of the WGM Residential Program, reporting to the Vice President of Program and Services.

Essential Duties

• Manages Program Coordinators
• Ensure that the individuals WGM serves have meaningful and productive lives, as well as ensuring their overall health, safety, and well-being.
• Oversee required documentation on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. (Case Management)
• Works collaboratively with agency RN to ensure all health services and documentation is in place.
• Plan and implement Residential recreational activities.
• Address concerns promptly, escalating issues as per WGM policies.
• Ensure compliance with licensure, certification, and regulatory standards.
• Knowledge of IDD Connects and HRST is essential (but not required.)
• Uphold WGM mission, vision, and values across leadership and staff.
• Maintain professional communications with individuals supported, families, and staff.
• Oversees potential Residential admissions inquiries.
• Oversee the planning and implementation of the Interdisciplinary Service Plan (ISP).
• Address concerns promptly, escalating issues as per WGM policies.
• Oversee financial management and budgets for residential program.

Requirements

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in a human services field including, but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or psychology.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with IDD
