Seeking a Psychiatric Nurse with management experience to be the Director over the 12-bed inpatient Geriatric Psychiatry Unit and 12-bed C/A Psychiatry Unit in the Donalsonville Hospital in Donalsonville, GA, close to Dothan, AL (33 minutes away). Donalsonville is one hour from Tallahassee, FL; Thomasville, GA; and Albany, GA.
This position is responsible for the maintenance of the contractual relationship and the overall administration of patient care for the Psychiatric unit. Responsibilities include:
1) The development and maintenance of a high-quality treatment program;
2) The development and implementation of a comprehensive community relations program;
3) Strategic planning, program administration, and development.
4) Oversight of nursing care on the units and supervision of nurses.

Qualifications
Requires a Psychiatry Nurse with previous acute care inpatient psychiatric management/supervisory experience. BSN preferred. Associates Degree in Nursing required with strong acute care inpatient psych management/supervisory experience.
Must have acute care inpatient BEHAVIORAL HEALTH experience. Previous C/A psych experience is a plus. Previous healthcare management experience strongly desired.
