Residential Counselor (Pt & Ft- All Shifts Available!)

Position:Residential Counselor
Locations: Medford, MA; Somerville, MA; Cambridge, MA; Arlington, MA
Salary: $19 per hour, WE WILL TRAIN!

Who we are looking for:
Seeking qualified Residential Counselors to help empower adults with intellectual disabilities to make more meaningful life choices by working directly with those individuals in one of our many programs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring community engagement
• Assisting with ensuring a livable environment
• Participating in the development, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of each individual's goals
• Providing therapeutic support and assisting in Behavior Support Plans, if appropriate
• Transporting individuals
• Medication Administration
• Assisting individuals with Activities of Daily Living such as feeding, dressing, toileting, and other aspects of personal care, and nutritional needs

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive
• Ability to pass a driving and background check
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to complete training both online and in-person

Preferred:

• Previous human services or long-term care experience is strongly preferred
• CNA/HHA experience preferred
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
